Mangaka Hata Kenjiro tweets in response to a user that the 3rd season of Hayate no Gotoku is coming after a movie in the summer.

@hatakenjiro: Thank you! The third season : after the movie of the summer of this year. Please wait in expectancy!

A 3rd season and a movie? I’m definitely looking forward to more Hinagiku.

    I’ve been looking forward to seeing the “End of the World” Arc animated for quite some time now. Athena’s character was an instant win from the moment she appeared.

    Here’s to hoping that S3 will give her character the justice it so righteously deserves.

      Couldn’t have said it better myself, cheers. That fact that such a prominent manga aspect is being neglected is disappointing, although that’s nothing new.
