An elemental workshop.

Complete with suits and ties

Ao no Exorcist is an upcoming anime series to be aired April 17th. It follows the story from the original manga, a world split into two parts yet joined as one. One part is composed of humans, and the other, demons. Those two dimensions are known as Assiah and Gehenna respectively, access between the two is restricted normally, however demons begin to pass through by possessing life from the human world. Out of all of that comes Rin, Satan’s son from a human women. Although after killing Rin’s guardian Father Fujimoto in an attempt to bring Rin back to the Demon world and thus Rin decides to become an exorcist.

I can’t say much from the synopsis alone. Could it be another anime show about demons? Or is it much more then that?

Below is Ao no Exorcist trailer 1, several scenes remind me of the game series Elder Scrolls.

And here is the latest trailer #2, notice the visuals are stunning.

From what I can see there is some interestingly dressed characters, a unique setting, and some nice weapons. The buildings and statues caught my eye and I’m really wondering what sort of anime this will turn out to be. Going based on what we have, I have pretty good expectations and plan to watch it April 17th.
